Softly lit dining room with set tables and glassware waiting for evening service
Wood fire · Whole grain · River valley

Slow food, cooked close to the water.

River Grain is a neighbourhood dining room built around heritage grains, a live hearth and whatever the valley's growers bring in that morning.

From the hearth: whatever the fire and the season allow.
The kitchen

Grain first, then everything else.

We mill and ferment in-house, bake bread every afternoon and build each plate around a grain: farro, spelt, rye, buckwheat, heritage corn. Vegetables, fish and a little meat fill in around it, cooked over oak and fruitwood.
